Nicole Loy, an incoming senior at Del Norte High, won the women's intermediate section with a first-attempt clearance at 11-2.50 (3.42m) at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Stars and Stripes Big Red Barn Meet in Sun City, Calif. Loy, who cleared 11-6.25 (3.51m) on June 9 at the USATF San Diego-Imperial Association Junior Olympic Championships, took three attempts at a personal-best 11-8.50 (3.57m).
