Rachel Homoly, a freshman at Liberty High in Missouri representing Just Vault, placed third in the women's elite section with a clearance of 12-11.75 (3.96m) at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Stars and Stripes Big Red Barn Meet in Sun City, Calif. Homoly, who had already achieved the national freshman class indoor record with her 13-foot clearance Feb. 25, took three attempts at a national freshman class outdoor record 13-5.75 (4.11m).
