Arran Fahey, an incoming senior at Vista High in San Diego, cleared a personal-best 15-1 (4.60m) on his third attempt to win the men's intermediate section at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Stars and Stripes Big Red Barn Meet in Sun City, Calif. Fahey entered the competition with a 14-foot PR, but cleared 14-1.25 (4.30m), 14-7.25 (4.45m) and 15-1. He had previously cleared 13-6.50 (4.12m) on June 6 at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Big Red Barn Meet.
